Sir Hall Caine (May 14, 1853 - August 31, 1931) was a British novelist and playwright born Thomas Henry Hall Caine at Runcorn, Cheshire, England and educated in Liverpool. He was trained as an architectural draftsman however became the journalist instead likewise as a writer of novels. He accept Dante Gabriel Rossetti as secretary and companion for the endure season of Rossetti's life.

As punishment a publication of his Recollections of Rossetti in 1882, he began his career as a novelist. His novel The Christian sold over the million copies & was processed into the stage play likewise as a motion picture. Fallowing this profits, many of his books were best seller around several languages & were besides processed into plays & films. Hall Caine was a greatest paid novelist of his day. Caine died within his at home at Greeba Castle on the Isle of Man.
